Ordering Process: PayPal is used for all transactions. You don't need to have an account with PayPal to place an order, you can place it with just your credit card.
When you place your order, you will receive
a) an email from PayPal that contains a receipt and list of the items you purchased. If you get that email it means that we've received your order. We do not send an additional confirmation email of your order: your receipt is the PayPal recipt. We do include a printed invoice for your records with your order.
b) When your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email.
Your email address is only used to communicate with you about your order. We don't send promotional emails of any kind; please use a "real" email. This really helps if questions arise later regarding the status of your order, such as an item being out of stock or lost package.
Standard delivery time from order is 7 to 10 days. This means that domestic US orders should arrive 7 to 10 days from the time you place your order.

Orders Shipping within the US: Shipping is via United States Postal Service, not UPS. Please ensure that the address you use is a postal service deliverable address. Your order will be delayed if our address verification system indicates your address is invalid.

Orders ship by either 1st Class or Priority Mail, depending on the weight of your order. When your order ships you will receive an email letting you know it's on its way along with a tracking number. Standard delivery time from order is 7 to 10 days. We're a small business, and the pulse of order volume can be a challenge. If you have a project that is on a deadline and need something sooner, please contact us to see if we can expedite shipping for your order.

Orders Shipping Outside the United States: Our cart will add a large shipping fee to your order, but we will will refund any excess charge over the exact cost of shipping plus $5USD for handling.

For example, if postage costs $12USD to ship your order and you were charged $40 USD by our cart, your refund would be (you paid for shipping $40) - (the actual cost of shipping $12 + $5 handling)= $23 refunded to you on shipment.

The actual cost of international shipping varies too widely for our cart to calculate accurately. This way everyone is charged based on the actual cost of shipping to their prospective country.

Shipping times range from 5 to 21 business days to points across the world. USPS Priority International mail is used and includes tracking number to let you know where it is during transit.

While we sympathize with the high level of taxation faced by our international friends, importation tax policy is an issue for you to take up with your local government. We fill out all customs forms accurately; please do not request for us to falsify customs documents.

Return Policy: Thru-Hiker wants you to be satisfied with your order and will accept returns for uncut/unmodified/clean items within 14 days of the delivery date. There is no restocking fee; your refund will be for the purchase price of the returned product. Shipping charges are non-refundable. You must contact us prior to returning your item to receive an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. We will refuse delivery of any item returned without an RMA number.
